Delicious Hot Chocolate; Dark Homemade
- Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients
Directions
Water (48 fluid ounces; 6 cups)Cocoa Powder (4 tablespoons)Splenda: 6-18 packets (depending on taste; I don't reccommend 18, but I love the bitterness, and some people don't- don't put in more than 18, though)
Boil the water. Take water off stove and add the cocoa powder and splenda. Makes 6 cups of cocoa (for the whole family). Additionally, you can mix the cocoa and splenda together in a container and use with boiling water (or milk) for hot cocoa whenever you want; if you do that, each serving is just about 2 teaspoons to a full tablespoon (depending on how much splenda you used).
When adding splenda, to ensure taste, taste after adding each packet / half teaspoon (if you're doing it that way). Adding more than a few tablespoons to the WHOLE recipe (more than a teaspoon to each indiviual one) adds a small amount of calories.
That being said, recipe makes 6 servings.
