Pork Chops with Stuffing

6 pork chops (2.72#!)1/4 cup butter1 large onion, chopped4 large stalks of celery, chopped2 tsp. thyme2 tsp. sage3 cups hot water14 oz Brownberry dry stuffing (sage and onion is nice)
Brown the chops on both sides in a large skillet. Transfer to a large pan and arrange in one layer. Cook the onion and celery in the same skillet in the butter. When soft, add hot water then the stuffing and mix well. Evenly spread the stuffing over the chops. Bake, covered, at 350F. Uncover the pan for the last half hour. Makes six large servings--7.25 ounces meat per serving and 2.5 package-recommended-servings of stuffing per serving. (3/4 cup dry is one serving on the package, and there are supposedly 15 servings in the package.)
