Italian Restaurant Style Dressing

Ingredients

1/2 cup white wine vinegar1/3 cup water1/3 cup vegetable oil1/4 cup corn syrup2 1/2 tablespoons grated romano cheese2 tablespoons dry pectin2 tablespoons Egg Beaters egg substitute or beaten eggs1 1/4 teaspoons salt1 teaspoon lemon juice2 teaspoon garlic powder1/2 teaspoon minced garlic1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes1 pinch dried oregano1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes
Mix all ingredients in bowl or blender. Whisk about a minute until thoroughly blended (if using blender, less time will suffice). Put in container and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving. The longer it chills, the better the flavors will blend. Pour over salad, less is more. Top with Parmesan cheese if desired (not included in calorie count).
Great with chicken, or homemade croutons.
