16 Bean soup with sausage

1 20 oz bag of 16 dried beans1 lg onion chopped 1 can (4 oz) green chilies- I use jalepenos2 tsp chili powder or to taste2 tps cumin " " "2 cans (14 1/2 oz each) chicken broth, less sodium3 cups water14 oz. turkey kielbasa (I used oscar mayer)
After soaking beans per directions on bag, put in pot and add all other ingredients except the sausage. Put on stove to slow cook for several hours or in crock pot on high 5 to 6 hours, or Low 9- 10 hours. Last hour add the sausage cut into bite size pieces.
