Introduction

Ingredients

    1 avocados
    Juice of one lime
    3/4 cup yogurt, low fat
    cloves garlic
    4 tbsp cilantro, raw

Directions

Blend all ingredients together with hand mixer and enjoy!
Makes about 1-1/2 cups, or 8-3 tbsp servings.

    Yogurt made it too twangy. Cilantro is just YUCK! I'll stick with the LF mayo version that has tomatoes and green chiles ~ - 4/24/08

    The idea with the yogurt was to add creaminess without adding salt or processed elements. If you're going to add mayo, you had might as well just buy guacamole at the grocery store.

    Cilantro is very much an acquired taste, but it is authentic to this type of cuisine. :)

    You certainly could! I tried to keep it on the easy and simple, plus jalapenos exclude my small kiddos eating it. ;-) Commercially pickled jalapenos add a lot of salt too. Cumin would be a good choice as well as green onions.
