Taco Bell Taco Dinner

Ingredients
Ground beef, 1 pound Taco Bell taco seasoning mix, 1-2 packagesWater, 3/4 CupTaco Shells, Hard or Soft Lettuce, shreddedTomato, choppedBlack Olives, sliced or choppedOnions, choppedBaby Carrots, shredded or choppedThis is an easy recipe to double or cut in half.
Directions
Brown 1# Ground Beef , drain grease. Add one package of Taco Bell Taco Seasoning Mix and 3/4 cup water(2pkgs for spicier tacos). Bring to a boil, then simmer 10 min or until mixture thickens. Bake hard shell tacos in 350 degree oven for 5 min. Heat Soft Tortillas in skillet, turning often. Serve 2T meat mixture on hard or soft taco shells with Chachies Medium Salsa, cheese and your choice of veggie toppings. We enjoy this for a quick busy evening meal. Or instead of tacos we put tortilla chips with it and make nachos in the oven. A good way to get the kids eating vegetables. Not necessarily low cal, but a step toward healthy Makes 8-10 tacos or an 8"x10" pan of nachos.
