Ingredients
Directions
Idaho Potatoes, Frozen (or fresh) cauliflower, garlic, onion, milk, unsalted butter.
In the first sauce pot boil 2.5 C cut up potatoes with 1/4 C of onion and two cloves of garlic. In the second sauce pot boil 2.5 C of frozen cauliflower with 1/4 C onion and two cloves of garlic. Boil both until desired tenderness and drain. Add the two together add 4 Tbs of unsalted butter, and a 1/4 C of whole milk. Blend or mash together until you get the consistency your family likes.
I think this is 7 1/2 C servings. (my husband refuses to let me measure his food). We like this because you still get the potato taste. Believe it or not it was the first time either of us ever had cauliflower. This will be the new way we eat mashed potatoes.
