Multigrain Farfalle with Kalamata Olives in an Artichoke Marinade

1/2 box Barilla Plus Multigrain Farfalle Pasta10 tsp grated parmesan cheese27 kalamata olives1 jar Trader Joe's marinated artichokes2 tsp sea salt2 tbsp dried parsley3 tsp dried basil1/2 tsp freshly ground black or multi-colored pepper
Add farfalle pasta to boiling water. Cook until al dente. Drain pasta then immediately pour drained pasta into ice cold water to stop the cooking process. Let pasta cool in ice bath for 15 minutes.
While pasta is cooling, pour jar of marinated artichokes including the marinade into a bowl. Use a scissors to cut the artichokes into more bitesize pieces. Pit kalamata olives if necessary. Add pitted kalamata olives to artichokes and marinade. Drain chilled pasta and add to mixture. Stir. Add parmesan cheese, sea salt, pepper, parsley, and basil. Continue to stir until pasta is evenly coated.
This recipe serves 5 people in a 2-cup serving size.
