100gms.Dried Mangosteen Peels(Kokum/Soley)3 litres Water2tsps.Cumin Seeds1tsp.Black Pepper Powder1tsp.Asafoetida(Hing)PowderBlack Rock Salt to taste 5-6 hot Green ChilliesOR1tsp.Red Chillie Powder10 sprigs Fresh Mint10 Sprigs Fresh Coriander(Cilantro)Leaves
Directions
PREPARATION
Dry roast the Cumin Seeds and powder these.Keep aside till needed.Finely chop the Green Chillies,Fresh Coriander and Mint Leaves.
Wash the dried Mangosteen Peels.
METHOD
Soak the Mangosteen Peels in the Water along with Asafoetida Powder,Salt to taste,Cumin Seed Powder,finely chopped Green Chillies(Red Chilli Powder) ,Fresh Coriander and Mint Leaves for 45 minutes.Pour into glasses and serve as an Appetizer or after Dinner Digestive Drink.
