Ingredients
Home made low salt chicken stock 8cupsCarrots 4ozcelery 4ozonions 3 ozfresh peas 6ozMeat only, whole roasted chicken 16ozflour .125 cup
Directions
In a large stock pot, on medium heat, saute the carrots, onions, and celery until tender, about 10 minutes.I used no oils or butter, just watch it closely. Sprinkle the 2 tbs. of flour and coat the veggies, let cook for 3 minutes. Slowly add the chicken stock, stirring so there is no lumps. Let simmer until it starts to thicken. About 3 minutes. Add the pear onions, chicken that you have shredded and the peas. Let simmer for 30 minutes and serve with either brown rice or white. Enjoy.
