pork chops and sauerkraut

Ingredients
1 jar sauerkraut3 pork chops2 med. potatoes, cubed1 c. waterSalt and pepper2 tbsp. oil1 tbsp. butter
Directions
1.Rinse and drain sauerkraut. Set aside.
2. Heat 2 tablespoons oil and 1 tablespoon butter in fry pan. 3. Season pork chops and brown both sides. Remove.
4. Put sauerkraut in and brown. Remove.
5. Put in cubed potatoes add 1 cup water.
6. Add pork chops and then put sauerkraut on top.
7.Cover and simmer until potatoes are done.

Makes 3 servings. (One chop, one cup of sauerkraut and 1/3 of the potatoes)
