New Orleans Crab Spread

Ingredients
4 ounces reduced-fat cream cheese, softened (Neufchated)1/2 cup fat-free mayonnaise1 (8 ounce) package imitation crabmeat, chopped1/4 cup celery, chopped1/4 cup green bell peppers, chopped1 garlic clove, pressed (or finely minced)1 1/2 teaspoon cajun seasoning crackers or toasted bread (for dipping)1 tbsp finely chopped onion
Directions
1.Place cream cheese in medium microwave-safe bowl.

2.Microwave on HIGH 30 seconds or until softened.

3.Add mayonnaise and shisk until smooth.

4.Chop crabmeat, celery and green pepper then add to bowl.

5.Stir in pressed garlic and cajun seasoning, mix well.

6.Cover and refrigerate 3 hours to let flovars blend.

7.Serve with toasted bread or crackers.

    Sounds very interesting, but can it possibly only have 3.8 calories in the entire recipe? I seriously doubt that. I will try this one soon, but will re-enter the ingredients to get an accurate calorie count! - 9/13/07
