Ingredients
Directions
Organic sweet potatoes, acorn squash, unsweetened applesauce, half and half cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, and olive oil.
Thorough wash the acorn squash and sweet potatos.
Cut the squash in half. Cover with aluminum foil. Place the squash and yams in a baking dish in the oven. Let them bake until the sweet potatos are done.
Cut out the squash meat out of its shell. Put into a small pot. Remove the sweet potatoes from their skins. You can cut them into halves or thirds to make it easier to smash into the acorn squash.
Add the cinnamon and nutmeg to the mixture. Keep smashing the sweet potatoes and acorn squash together while you add the half 'n half. Mix well to the consistency you desire. Finally, mix in the teaspoon of olive oil. To keep warm or to heat up, heat the pot on the stove.
