I would like to ask all those 'diet police' folks who feel compelled to judge a recipe for all of the rest of us to remember your needs are different from mine. Too much sodium, fat, etc.? Write to the product company, insist on change, and allow me to balance my own intake. - 8/4/09

Great recipe! I actually make this, but, I use the artichoke/olive mix that you can buy in a jar at Aldi's in place of the onion/red pepper. - 6/30/09

Quick, easy, healthy & delicious! The only difficult thing is trying to wrap up all those veggies :)! Used reduced-fat feta and the lite spinach Flat-Out wrap and it was perfect! - 6/22/09

Thanks! I don't use the full 1/4 cup of feta, just a sprinkle. That cuts the fat down significantly. I never cut the amount of hummus though. This recipe is also good with Athenos Red Pepper Hummus. Yummy!

This sounds delish! I've had similar and know it is good. People get a grip! This is sort of a base recipe. You can alter any recipe to your needs and you can use any hummus or flat bread you may like. This may happen to be what she prefers! Thank you for posting this recipe. - 10/21/09

This is exactly what I try to get across to people. My husband doesn't care about sodium, where my father can't eat any, so you change recipes to go along with your lifestyle. However, I did try to make my own hummus from fresh chickpeas yesterday and can't seem to get it smooth instead of chunky.

I use Mission 7in whole wheat flour tortilla, use Tribe's all natural Roasted Red Pepper or Garlic Hummus. is that 1.4 cups of 1/4 cup of chopped cucumbers? Sometimes use Goat Cheese. 1 tbls fresh chopped cilantro is nice too! - 7/15/09

this has turned out to be one of my favorite lunches. i had not really eaten hummus before now. i love it. i made a few alterations just to keep it from getting boring. will make this again and again. - 8/28/09

Although homemade hummus would cut the quick factor out of this meal, would cut the sodium and fat down enough that the sprinkle feta cheese wouldn't be such a guilty factor, either. - 8/4/09

It sounds great until I saw the sodium count ~Yikes over 1,000. - 8/1/09

Make your own hummus, buy fresh feta, and you can even make your own tortillas very easily...and they taste great!!!

This has become my favourite lunch, I use 2 weight watchers whole wheat tortilla, and put half the quantity on each. I individually wrap them in plastic wrap and take them with me, I'll eat one and save one for later. I put whatever vegetables I have on hand. Very satisfyingé - 8/5/09

I make these all the time - sometimes adding cucumber, banana peppers, and a drizzle of red wine vinegar. One of my favorite lunches!. - 3/22/10

I cannot use milk products, so I omitted the feta (sad face because I used to like it). However, I used almond cheese with a small pinch of basil and a Tbls of chopped sun-dried tomatoes. Very tasty. - 3/13/10

Another good choice with the hummus is pesto instead of feta. It is out of this world!!!
