Breaded Tofu (gluten-free)

Ingredients
1 block of extra firm tofu-sliced1/2 c of ground flax seed.5 tsp garlic powder2T nutritional yeast2 t gluten free tamari (I use Bragg)canola oil for frying
Directions
put the block of tofu between 2 plates. rest a can of soup or beans on the top plate to gently remove excess water. While waiting mix garlic powder, yeast, and salt and pepper to taste. Slice like a loaf of bread. Sprinkle a small amt of the tamari, then dip each piece into seasoned flax mixture. Fry until golden.
