veggie burger thing

Ingredients
one can of kidney beans (15 oz)half cup onion choppedone carrot gratedhalf cup mushrooms choppedhalf cup red pepper chopped couple cloves garlic choppedchipotle pepperhalf cup oatmeal (uncooked)
Directions
add all ingredients to food processor, and chop. dont liquify. adding the beans last kind of helps with solidity, but it will always be kind of.. mushy, but very tasty.
make into patties, cook on skillet or in oven. or in microwave if youre very lazy like i am.
serve in a pita pocket either onits own or with some avacado, or ceasar dressing

    This had more of a sloppy joe/mushy consistancy rather than that of a burger, but it was still good. I ate it open faced on half of an english muffin with swiss cheese and Catalina dressing on top. - 1/5/08
