Asian Broccoli Slaw

Dressing:1/4 cup Nama Shoyu or low-sodium soy sauce1/4 cup raw agave nectar or honey1/4 cup rice vinegar1 tsp grated fresh ginger1 tsp grated fresh garlic1 tsp sesame oil or sesame chili oil12 ounce bag broccoli slaw1/4 cup thinly sliced red or sweet onion1 tbsp sesame seeds
In a bowl whisk together dressing ingredients.
Add remaining ingredients and toss to combine. Allow slaw to marinate for about 30 minutes, stir often.
Try adding 1/2 tbsp red pepper flake to turn up the heat.

I always follow a new recipe as is so I can judge if I want to tweak it or not. This recipe is great as is (I used honey) and the only thing I added (not changed) was I added 1tsp of my "go to" Chinese Chili Sauce goop that I added to it. It's also my secret to my cocktail sauce everybody loves.

This is so good! Being someone who's incapable of following directions as they are written, (ha) I added 2 packets of stevia and only used 1 ½ T of honey and only used 2T low sodium soy sauce. Also doubled the ginger and garlic and added lots of red pepper flakes. Loved it. Very flavorful. - 10/16/15
