Gruyere Grilled Cheese with Caramelized Onion

Ingredients
2 slices Ezekiel bread1 ounce gruyere cheese1 ounce caramelized onion1 tablespoon butterfreshly ground pepper
Directions
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and place bread in pan. Flip over the bread to coat the other side in butter. Place cheese and caramelized onion on bread. Sprinkle freshly ground pepper on top and close the sandwich. Cook until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted, 10 minutes. Flip them halfway through. Cut in half and serve right away.
