Ingredients
1 Pound Spicy Italian Turkey Sausages, uncooked and removed from casing5-8 ounces frozen spinach (half a package), thawed and drained1/2 cup frozen peas1/4 cup breadcrumbs1 Large Egg1 tsp hot mustard 1/2 tsp paprikaPepper to taste2-3 TBS Organic Ketchup
Directions
Get all your ingredients together, bring out your baking dish, and preheat your oven to 425 F. Thaw your spinach in the microwave and squeeze out as much moisture as you possibly can. In the same bowl, add your sausage meat, the breadcrumbs, the egg, the spices, and the peas. Mix with your hands until it is combined and everything is evenly distributed. Have a few paper towels handy! When it's mixed, add it into your baking dish, making sure the top is even. I wanted thick slices, so used a 6x6 dish. This would also be great formed into large meatballs. Wash your hands thoroughly and squeeze the ketchup on top then spread it evenly with a spatula. Bake for 35-45 minutes, depending on the thickness of your loaf. If you go the meatball route, check after 25 minutes. Use a meat thermometer and remove when the center reads 165 degrees or higher. Enjoy!
