Ingredients
1kg Minced beef 15% fat2 large onions chopped2 cloves garlic chopped2 green peppers in chunks2 tins chopped tomatoes140g tin tomato puree2 tins kidney beans drained & rinsed2 knorr beef stock cubes2tsp chilli or to taste2 bottles miller beer can be replaced with water30g oatmeal
Directions
Fry off the beef until well browned & place in a pan or slow cooker.

Fry onions in a small amount of olive oil over a low heat until nicely golden. Add garlic & fry for another 2 mins being careful not to burn. Add this mix to beef.

Add the remaining ingredients & bring to a very slow boil, continuing to simmer on a very low heat for about 2 hours. A slow cooker is great for this.

Your chilli should be now cooked - nice & thick - if too soupy take lid off pan or cooker & simmer further until reduced.
