Slow-Cooker Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients
1/2 tsp cream of tartar10 med potatoes thinly slicedhalf an onion choppedsalt to taste1 cup grated american or cheddar cheese1 can cream of mushroom soup1 tsp paprikapepper to taste
Directions
Dissolve cream of tartar in water add potatoes and toss together. Drain. Place half of potatoes in slow cooker. Sprinkle with onions, salt , pepper, and half of cheese. Repeat with remaining potatoes and cheese. Spoon soup over the top. Sprinkle with paprika. COver cook low 8-10 hours or high 4 hours.

    I made this for Thanksgiving and it was, at best, mediocre. Although thinly sliced, the potatoes were still too firm after an 8 hour cook, and the cheese was burned. I even added an extra can of soup. We had so much left over because no one ate it. - 11/26/11

    Very Good, for soup I used the cream of mushroom with roasted garlic and mix it with 1/4 c. skim milk before I pour it on the top. - 9/27/11
