Crockpot Vegetable Soup

Ingredients
6 oz lean ground beef1 bag of frozen mixed vegetables1 head of cabbage, chopped3 c beef broth1/2 c celery, chopped1/2 small onion, chopped1 can of diced tomatoes4 c water2 TB ParsleySalt and Pepper
Directions
Chop Onion. Brown beef with onion. Chop cabbage and celery.
Mix all ingredients in crockpot and cook for at least 6 hours. I cook for 10-12 while I'm at work. Makes around 18 - 1 cup servings.

Optional - tastes good with one can of tomato sauce too.

    I do not see the amount of beef added or what type? I used some ground beef it this so I'm sure the calorie count is higher. - 4/17/10

    I'm sorry, I have fixed this. When I did the calculation I use 6 ounces of lean ground beef.
