Crustless Sausage and Broccoli Breakfast Quiche

8 oz. turkey breakfast sausage (raw weight)1 1/2 cups cooked chopped broccoli2 cloves garlic, minced2 oz. shredded reduced fat cheddar1 1/2 cups Egg Beaters1 cup buttermilk1/2 cup skim milk1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper (or more to taste)
Preheat oven to 375. Spray a 9" deep dish pie plate with cooking spray.
Cook sausage and garlic together until sausage is cooked through and crumbly.
Put on bottom of pie plate. Top with cooked broccoli, then sprinkle cheese on top.
In a large bowl, whisk together egg beaters, buttermilk, skim milk and cayenne pepper.
Pour egg mixture over ingredients in pie plate. Bake for 45 minutes or until eggs are set and top is browned. Let rest for 10 minutes until slightly cooled. Slice and serve.
Makes 4 servings. One serving is 1/4 of the pie plate!
