Tomato Sauce by Anastasia

Ingredients
12 medium White Mushrooms, sliced1 pound 80/20 Ground Chuck2 cans (12oz) Tomato Paste1 medium white Oinion peeled, chopped4-6 cups water1 box Whole Wheat Pasta2 Tbsp Olive OilSeasonings to taste
Directions
Add 12 medium mushrooms, sliced to 2 Tbsp olive oil in a sauce pan
After a few minutes of stirring add 1 medium chopped onion
In a separate pan, brown the 1 pound of ground chuck and drain, then lightly rinse to remove most of the fat
Add the ground chuck to the vegatables in the first pan
Add the 2 cans (12oz) tomato paste and 4-6 cups water
Season to taste: I included garlic, onion powder, celery seed, two bay leaves, oregano, basil, sage
Bring to a boil, then turn down to low for about one hour
Boil the whole wheat pasta
Mix and serve in about one cup servings with a salad
