ED'S Original Italian Meatballs

1/3 cup non fat milk1 slice Sara Lee Whole Wheat Bread, crust removed1 lbs lean ground turkey1 shallot chopped finely2 tbsp Basil chopped finely1 large egg.5 tbsp olive oil3 tbsp Parmesan Cheese grated.5 tsp salt1 tsp pepper, black1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs finel ground
Makes 20 meatballs, Serves 4 with 5 meatballs each
Heat milk and soak bread slice in milk. Mash bread in milk until smooth. Set aside to cool.
In a mixing bowl combine turkey, shallots, basil, nutmeg, parmesan cheese,olive oil, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly but gently by hand.
Shape into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter. Roll the meatballs in the bread crumbs. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with oil. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees and turn once at 20 minutes.
