Best All-American Brownies

Ingredients
1/2 lb. butter1 1/4 cup flour3/4 cup cocoa3/4 cup baking powder1/2 tsp salt3 eggs1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract2 cups sugar
Directions
Heat oven to 325 degrees. Butter a 13x9 inch baking pan. Melt the 1/2 pound butter and let cool. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt in one bowl. Beat eggs and vanilla in another bowl until foamy. Gradually beat in sugar until blended and then beat in butter. Beat in flour mixture. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake until brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan (30-35 minutes). Let cool before cutting into 24 squares.
