Ananda's Mint tea

1 cup mint tea leaves- spearmint or peppermint1 cup sugar6 cups hot water8-10 cups cold water
Place mint leaves in a glass measuring cup or bowl that holds 8 cups. Pour boiling water over the leaves. Let sit for 5 minutes. Remove mint leaves. Add sugar while hot. Stir well. Pour into large 2 gallon pitcher. Fill with cold water. Serve cold or over ice. Makes 2 gallons or 16 1 cup servings.
