Laura's Hummus

Ingredients

2 cloves garlic1 15.5 oz. can of chickpeas (2 cups)1/4 tsp ground cumin1/4 tsp cayenne (red) pepper2 tsp dried parsley1 tsp salt2 tbsp olive oil4 tbsp lemon juice
1. Peel the cloves of garlic, and either chop by hand or with a chopper.
2. Drain chickpeas (save a little liquid in case hummus is dry). Put drained chickpeas into blender.
3. Add chopped garlic and remaining ingredients to the blender.
4. Blend to desired consistency. Add extra chickpea liquid if hummus is too dry.
5. Put hummus into refrigerator, or serve with pitas, carrots, etc.
