Ingredients
1 c. raw cashews2 c. water4 tbsp. nutritional yeast flakes1 tbsp. onion powder1 tsp. garlic powder1 1/2 tsp salt1/4 c. pimentos
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a blender, blend until smooth. (Rub mixture between fingers, mixture should be smooth.) Pour into a medium sauce pan and cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened to desired consistency.

    I used to make this (15 years ago!) and lost the recipe.
    I love the savory, nacho cheese flavor.

    Options I used on occasion were , individually or all together:
    dash of cayenne or jalapenos to kick it up a notch!
    1/8C toasted sesame seeds
    1/4 C lemon juice - 12/6/12
