Broccoli & Bow Ties

1 cup water1 lb, broccoli florets, coarsely chopped1/4 cup EVOO5 cloves garlic, minced3 pinches red pepper flakes1 lb. bowtie pasta, cooked until al dente1/2 cup grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese1 handful fresh flat-leaf parsley1/4 tap ground nutmeg
Bring a cup on water to a boil in a medium pan and reduce heat to simmer. Add florets, cover pan and steam 3-5 minutes, until tender. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a deep, nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and crushed red pepper flakes. When garlic sizzles in oil, add florets and saute 1-2 minutes. In the pan or a large bowl, toss the florets with pasta, cheese, parsley, nutmeg.
