stuffed tomato Hors D'oeuvres

Ingredients
4 Roma Tomatoes 1/2 c. low fat shredded cheese (any flavor) 1 c. breadcrumbs* 1/3 c. light butter basil (optional)
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375`

2. Cut tops off tomatoes, scoop out seeds.

3. Place 1/3 c. butter in saucepan, add breadcrumbs. melt butter to moisten crumbs.
* if using real breadcrumbs ( 1 slice bread and teaspoon Italian seasoning pulsed to fine texture) then you can skip this step and begin assembly.

4. Place tomatoes on a cookie sheet.
Layer: sprinkle cheese in bottom of tomatoes, add breadcrumb mixture, and top with remaining cheese.

5. Bake for 10 minutes until cheese starts to melt (or place under broiler for 2 to 3 minutes)

Garnish with Basil leaf, Serve warm, and Enjoy!
