Falafel (Baked not Fried)

Ingredients

2.5 cups chickpeas (625mL)2-3 cloves of garlic1 egg1/4 cup tahini (60mL)1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp ground cumin1/4 tumeric powder2 tbsp chopped parsley (30mL)2 tbsp chopped green onion (30mL)
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F.
Place: chickpeas, garlic, tahini, salt, cumin, and tumeric in a food processor and puree until smooth.
Transfer to medium bowl and add parsley and green onions. Mix well.
Roll into 1.5inch balls and place on lightly oiled cookie sheet.
Bake for 10mins.
Serve with Lemon Tahini Dressing.
Complement with Mediterranean/Greek Salad, or Tomato Rice Salad.
