6 cans Diced tomatoes (can use flavored one)6 cloves garlic minced2 lg onions diced2 cups mushrooms4 tbsp dried basil or 6 leaves fresh2 tsp sugarsalt & pepper to taste2 tbsp olive oil
In a heavy bottom pan put olive oil, onion, and
garlic and saute till onion is clear. Add basil, mushrooms, and all the tomatoes, sugar and
salt and pepper to taste. Simmer on low for
about an hour, the longer the better. Serve over pasta
