Ingredients: * *Potato, raw, 2 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) (remove) * Paprika, 1 tbsp (remove) * Salt, 2 tsp (remove) * Turmeric, ground, 1 tsp (remove) * *Cumin seed, 1 tsp (remove) * Garlic, 8 cloves (remove)
Directions
boil potatoes.Take a nonstick pan.Saute without oil garlic,paprika,chaat masala,cumin seeds,add salt,add potatoes mashed well.Saute and serve.

    chaat masala is a masala with dry mango powder,sea salt etc..it is basically added to give a sweet n sour taste to the recipe..

    I used Purple Yam,Sweet Potatoes and Suran along with Potatoes and added whipped Yoghurt,hot Green chutney and Sweet Tamarind Chutney and turned it into a Chaat----tasted just great both ways------Thank You!!!! - 6/4/10
