1 cup flour1/2 tsp salt2 eggs1 cup water mixed with 1/2 cup milk2 tbsp beef drippings
Sift the flour with the salt in a bowl. Make a well in the center and add the eggs with 1/2 of the water/milk mixture. With a whisk, stir carefully gradually drawing in all the flour to form a smooth batter. Add 1/2 of the remaining liquid and beat for 3 minutes. Then add the rest of the liquid. Cover and stand in a cool place (not the refrigerator) for at least 1 hour before cooking.
Heat 2 tbsp of drippings from your beef roast and coat the sides of each muffin pan. Add the batter 1/2 inch and bake at 450 degrees for about 20 minutes.
