Best Cornbread recipe Ever !

Ingredients
1 1/2 C whole wheat All purpose Flour (such as King Arthur)1/3 C sugar1/3 C Splenda1 Tbsp Baking Powder1/2 tsp salt1 1/4 C Skim Milk2 egg whites or 1/2 C egg substitute1/3 C soybean oil or other trans fat free oil3 Tbsp melted butter or light margarineIF you want to reduce the fat even more you can substitute the 3 Tbsp of butter for applesauce or the oil for the applesauce. The applesauce will add a little extra sugar but it will be lower glycemic than granulated sugars!
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 Degrees.
Grease a square baking pan with Pam or similar cooking spray and set aside.

Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl and set aside. In a large bowl combine sugar, splenda and melted butter/margarine. Next add eggs lightly beaten and then milk. Mix dry into wet ingredients and lastly add the oil and mix lightly.
Bake for 25-35 minutes and watch closely. It is done when a toothpick is inserted and comes out clean!
