Oatmeal Apple-Cherry Crisp

Ingredients
2.5 apples, cored and sliced1/3c dried cherries (tart is better)1c old fashioned oatmeal1packet apple flavored instant oatmeal2tbsp melted butter (unsalted)1/2tsp cinnamon (if desired)
Directions
Arrange the apple slices evenly in the bottom of an oven safe pan (a pie pan works well, or an 8x8 pan) Make 2 layers if possible. Sprinkle the dried cherries over the apple slices. Mix the oatmeal, instant oatmeal, cinnamon, and melted butter in another bowl. Spread the oatmeal/butter mixture over the apples and cherries. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
