Candied Popcorn

Ingredients
5 q freshly popped popcorn1 1/2 cups dry-roasted peanuts1 cup butter2 cups firmly packed brown sugar1/2 cup dark corn syrup1/2 tspn. baking soda1/2 tspn. salt1/2 tspn. vanilla extract
Directions
Place popcorn and peanuts on a lightly greased cookie sheet, set aside. Melt butter in large saucepan; stir in sugar and corn syrup. Bring to a boil; boil 5 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat. Stir in soda, salt, and vanilla.
Pour sugar mixture over popcorn; stir well until everything is coated. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool; store in airtight container.
