Ingredients
1 medium yellow onion, sliced8 cups chopped cabbage8 oz egg noodles1 tbsp vegetable oil2 tbsp butterPaprika (you choice of ammount)Seasoned salt pepper
Directions
Make sure you have a deep skillet, at least 2 inches!!!

Chop all of your ingrediants to uniform shape.
Heat your skillet to a medium-medium high heat, adding your butter and oil. Add onions and saute' till tender. Then add cabbage and 1/2 cup of water. Cover and let steam. When cabbage has softened add your ingredients and cook till cabbage is very tender.

While everything is steaming, cook your egg noodles according to instructions. Don't over cook! or it'll end up as mush.

Once everything is cooked, combine together in a large bowl. And season to your hearts content! i suggest a nice hungarian paprika.

*You can used lawry's season salt instead of just salt and pepper, and a touch of sugar if the cabbage isn't quite in season*
**I changed the wording and the organization a bit for easier cooking**

Made this. Yes cook your noodles according to directions. Saute onion and cabbage and cook it down to softness and cabbage is done, Drain noodles and add to the cabbage. Add seasonings. Easy and good - 1/17/09

Just a guess, but I think you make the noodles in the sauce pan and combine the other ingredients in the skillet. Add the noodles when they are tender, once everything else is done cooking. - 1/15/09
