I have long made a non-chocolate version, but seeing this recipe inspired me to try adding cocoa. I use different proportions though - 2T peanut butter, 2T flax, .5T honey. When I added 1T cocoa powder I upped the honey to 1T. It was very thick and sweet but not too much so. Yum! Thx for the idea! - 11/8/12

Had to do ALOT ALOT ALOT of "tweaking" to even get these to stick together at ALL! Kind of wondered about that when I was adding ingredients but thought it might work out OK... Didn't end up all that "healthy" by the time I got them to stick together... Like another similar recipe better...sorry. - 8/5/11

Absolutely deliciously! My French tutor really enjoyed them also. I like the combo of ingredients, I added a little cinnamon for more health benefits. Recipe takes a lot of adjusting to hold together & roll. I added peanut butter, rice milk, & honey a several times. Definitely plan to make again. - 4/23/11

These are OK. I had trouble rolling them into balls because the mix wasn't moist enough, so I added more honey and a bit of water. I don't know what size to make the balls since the recipe doesn't say. The balls I made were golfball sized, but the mix is only enough for six at that size. - 8/30/10
