6 Boneless center cut pork chops, trimmed 16 oz package of refridgerated sauerkraut, canned may be used1 cup brown sugar2 granny smith apples, peeled, cored and cut into slices1 12 oz bottle dark beer or any beer you like2 tbsp cooking oilsalt and pepper
Salt and pepper pork chops. Brown chops in a dutch oven with oil over med-med high heat on both sides. Add sauerkraut, beer, sliced apples, and brown sugar. Stir to mix. Lower heat to low-med and simmer for 3 hours or until the pork falls apart. Makes 6 servings.
