Ingredients
*Garlic, Raw, 13 gram(s) (remove)Onions, raw, 83 grams (remove)Oregano, ground, .5 tsp (remove)Green Peppers (bell peppers), 114 grams (remove)Yellow Peppers (bell peppers), 164 grams (remove)*Balsamic Vinegar, 3 tbsp (remove)Olive Oil, 2 tbsp (remove)*Splenda, 2 tsp (remove)Salt, 1 tsp (remove)Pepper, black, 1 tsp (remove)Paprika, 1.5 tsp (remove)*fresh red chilli, 1 serving (remove)*mixed dry herb, 1 tsp (remove)*Chopped tomatoes in tomato juice (tinned), 400 gram(s) (remove)Lentils, 150 grams (remove)*asda tomato puree, 1.5 tbsp (remove)Basil, .3 tbsp (remove)
Directions
Finely chop the onions, garlic chilli, oregano and peppers. Heat the oil on a high heat. Add Onion garlic and chilli reduce heat and cover for 5 minutes.Add peppers and return to low heat with lid untl peppers soften and juice comes out. Add seasoning paprika and herbs except basil. stir and increas to high heat. add balsamic vinegar and sugar and boil until reduced by half. Add tomatoes, red lentils and cup of water bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer until lentils are cooked, then add tomato puree and basil.
