This was great for kids. I may add more spinach next time to get more vegetables in my kids. I served the red pepper separately and let the kids add it themselves. My husband had to avoid tomatoes for a few days and he doesn't like cream sauce. This pasta was flavorful without being heavy. - 3/15/12

This is to die for! My family loved it...including the spinach...and gobbled it up. I didn't have fresh basil so I used some dried Italian seasonings, sprinkled some olive oil on the pasta before I tossed it with the sausage mixture and omitted the parm. I will be making this again. Thanks! - 5/10/11

AMAZING! Best recipe I have tried from sparkrecipes! I left out the basil and accidentally forgot the cheese and it was great! - 6/16/10

It really depends on how spicy you like your food. I would add based on your preferences. I usually add about 1 tsp
