Vegetarian Italian Sausage Macaroni

Ingredients
2 vegetarian Italian sausages, sliced1 jar marinara sauce1 small yellow onion, chopped2 1/2 cups dry macaroni (or other pasta)5 Tbsp. parmesan
Directions
Bring 6 cups of water to a boil.
While waiting for water to boil, spray a sautee pan with cooking spray and sautee onion for 2-3 minutes. Add sausage slices and continue to cook until browned.
Add pasta to boiling water and cook for 8-10 minutes (or as indicated on package).
While pasta is boiling, add marinara to onion and sausage and simmer until pasta is done.
Drain pasta and mix in with marinara.
Sprinkle each serving with 1 Tbsp. parmesan if desired.
Makes 5 servings (approx. 2 cups each)
