6 cup, chopped Cabbage, fresh 1.04 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, raw 1360 mL Tomato juice, with salt added 2 cup White Rice, long grain, cooked 600 gram(s) Extra lean ground pork (Québec)
Cook the beef and the onion over medium-high heat until the meat is brown.
Degrease the meat.
Add the rice, and put into an oven pot
Sprinkle the cabbage over the meat.
Add oregano and pepper to taste in the tomato juice, and pour over the cabbage.
Cover.
Cook in a 350 F oven for 1 1/2 hour without opening the pot or mixing.
Makes about 8 servings.
