Ingredients
˝ cup Fiber One Original (or similar, I used generic brand cereal)5 string cheese packets of your choosing1/4th cup water2 tablespoons dried oregano2 tablespoons basil2 tablespoons rosemary2 tablespoons thyme2 tablespoons Parmesan cheeseother seasonings to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 F.

Remove string cheese from packets and cut in half so that you end up with ten sticks.

Put the cereal in a food processor until the cereal looks like breadcrumbs. I put mine on the coffee setting, worked like a charm!

Mix the cereal, herbs and parmesean cheese in a small ziplock bag.

Dip sticks into watter, then place in ziplock bag and shake until well coated. Dip a couple of times if you have to.

Remove from ziplock bag and transfer to a non stick baking sheet or aluminum foil.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until you see that the cheese has melted.

Serve with marinara sauce (optional), and enjoy!

I follow the recipe but is the 2 tablespoons for herbs wrong? It came out wayyy too much herbs to about 1/3 cup cereal crushed. It didn’t even stick to the mozzarella. I had to keep adding cereal until it was a somewhat decent to eat. Which probably made the calorie count go up which defeats the p - 3/11/19

If I'm reading this recipe correctly and the serving sizes, 1/2 of a mozzarella stick is a serving? It's not as low-cal as it appears when looking at the nutritional value. I would probably want to eat 4 1/2 sticks, or 2 whole sticks, which makes this snack over 200 calories, plus the sauce :/ - 10/31/14
