Marinated Broccoli Salad

2 lbs fresh broccoli, cut into flowerets, and stem chopped8 ounces sliced mushrooms1 red bell pepper cut into chunks1 yellow bell pepper cut into chunks1 red or sweet onion thinly sliced1/3 cup olive oil1/2 cup cider vinegar2 TBS Splenda1 tsp paprika1 tsp onion powder1 tsp celery seed1/2 tsp salt
Mix the dressing ingredients together and set aside. A blender does a great job of incorporating it well.
Cut the broccoli. Lightly steam the stems for about 1 minute. Then remove the stems and add the flowerets for about 1 minute at the most. (Just getting them a bit done, turning them a bright green.)
Cut onion, muchrooms and peppers and place in large bowl. Add the lightly steamed broccoli while still hot. Then pour on the dressing. You can do this a couple of hours ahead and let it marinate, or you can serve it almost immediately.
