when its mixed well spread over your cake .
refrigerate your cake because its a cool whip icing

    I made the icing, for my son's birthday cake and it was easy to make and turned out really good. This recipe can also be used with different flavors. It is not sweet a sweet icing, but a light icing, but it is very good. - 1/21/12

    I've made this lots of times. I believe I like it better with vanilla flavoring and 8 oz pkg of fat free cream cheese instead of the milk and pudding. Very good! - 6/16/11

    so simple yet so yummy. Can substitute any flavor instant pudding and could even use to "fill" cupcakes or make homemade twinkies. The possibilities are endless. Great idea! Another idea is to make 2 batches and to use one flavor between layers and one flavor to ice. - 5/20/11

    A friend made this frosting for the "Amazing Chocolate Cake" (recipe also on SparkPeople) she made for my birthday. It was perfect, and so light and tasty! I hate really sugary, sweet frostings, and this was lovely. - 8/27/10
