Ingredients
6 cups coarsley chopped cabbage1 Tbsp butter2 medium apples, cut from the core and chopped1/2 teaspoon salt2 Tbsp brown sugar1/2 cup water3-4 tablespoons vinegar
Directions
Melt the butter in a large saucepan. Add cabbage and apples and saute for about 5 minutes, or until tender. Sprinkle on the salt and sugar. Add the water and vinegar. Stir and cover. Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve hot.
