Spicy Chicken Tortilla Soup

1 tbs olive oil1 medium onion, diced1 large jalapeno, diced1 tbs. minced garlic2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed2 tbs ground cumin1 tbs chili powder1/2 tsp ground cayenne pepper2 14.5 oz cans diced tomatoes w/jalapenos2 cups fat free low-sodium chicken broth3 bay leaves
Heat olive oil in stock pot.
Dice onion and jalapeno and saute in olive oil until slightly tender. Add the garlic and cubed chicken breasts. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink.
Add the cumin, chili powder and cayenne pepper and stir in until chicken is well coated.
Stir in the tomatoes, corn and black beans. Stir in the chicken broth to the desired consistency. Bring to a boil. Add the bay leaves and simmer 30 minutes.
